We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our Engineering team in a permanent role that combines leadership, technical expertise and continuous improvement to drive operational excellence, support new product introductions and optimize manufacturing processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has 10+ years' experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering, including 3+ years in management. You will have the chance to work on high-profile projects, develop and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, and drive continuous improvement, productivity and cost reduction initiatives.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership, coaching and communication skills, as well as a proven track record in Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement. They will be responsible for managing New Product Introductions (NPI) and technology transfers, ensuring high uptime and efficiency of SMT, test and process equipment, and overseeing facility management and capital expenditure projects.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering, including 3+ years in management
  • Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills
  • Proven track record in Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement
  • Project management experience, including NPI and process optimization
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • Experience with SMT programming, SAP, MES or advanced manufacturing technologies is an advantage
