Job Title: Manufacturing and Maintenance Technician

CREGG is seeking a skilled Manufacturing and Maintenance Technician to join their team in Cork.

This role involves working on a weekend night shift, with a 3-day workweek, offering an excellent shift premium.

If you have previous manufacturing experience, trade qualifications, or a relevant level 6 qualification, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance through the CMMS System (BMRAM)
  2. Maintain production equipment, including planned and unplanned maintenance activities
  3. Carry out root cause analysis of machine breakdowns to schedule corrective maintenance
  4. Provide knowledge to the Line Support team to maximize machine output
  5. Help the department achieve world-class equipment uptime by utilizing downtime and OEE data
Requirements:
  1. Minimum Level 6 Qualification
  2. Relevant working knowledge of an FDA regulated industry and GMP requirements
  3. Experience working in a Cleanroom environment is ideal but not required
  4. Strong electrical and electronic repair and diagnostic skills
  5. Strong mechanical systems problem-solving and repair skills
  6. Experience in pneumatic fault finding and repair
  7. Demonstrate levels of theoretical knowledge with practical application
  8. Good teamworking and communication skills
  9. Good computer skills
