Senior Equipment Maintenance Specialist

">The role involves performing maintenance on equipment and systems, evaluating and recommending improvements to enhance reliability, capability, and yield. This includes conducting condition analyses during preventive and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems, and preparing technical reports for documentation purposes.
">Key responsibilities also include managing plant equipment such as steam boilers, chillers, and air compressors, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) directives. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for managing and supporting team members in their area of responsibility, including recruitment, integration, training needs, and performance management in line with company HR policies.
">A strong focus on leadership and direction is required to ensure clear communication of goals, targets, and expectations to the team. The successful candidate will also be responsible for appraising team performance, coaching members to elevate performance through development plans, and addressing poor performance through improvement plans together with the HR business partner.
">Furthermore, the role entails managing capital expenditure projects to completion, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. It also involves generating annual master plans for the area, defining costs and resource requirements, and clearly outlining how success will be measured.
">In terms of qualifications, the ideal candidate will hold a degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic or Instrumentation, and have a minimum of 6 years of experience in maintenance within an industry environment. They must also possess effective time management skills, the ability to multitask, and fluency in English.
