Job Description

We are seeking dedicated professionals to fill the role of Community Support Worker. This position is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who wish to make a positive impact in their community.

In this role, you will work with service users to empower them to live independent lives at home and in the community. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting service users in developing and delivering person-centred plans.
  • Developing community partnerships to foster active citizenship aligned with service user goals and wishes.
  • Transporting service users to access the community.
  • Assisting with weekly administration and advocacy duties.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience working with service users in the disability sector. You will also require excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a full clean manual driving license with access to a personal vehicle for work purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum QQI qualification in Healthcare or a relevant field.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a relevant sector.
  • Aged 18 or older.
  • An excellent command of spoken and written English.
