Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU, or eligibility for registration.
  • A schedule 3 qualification, or a comparable qualification recognised by Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU.
  • Practical understanding of life skills for independent living.
  • Strong foundation in trauma-informed, human rights, and strengths-based practice.
  • Knowledge and awareness of the ADMA and how it informs practice.
  • Maintains clear boundaries.
  • Comfortable with uncertainty and a strong commitment to positive risk-taking.
  • Passionate about engaging with people in distress.
  • Warm, responsive, and team-oriented.
  • A full, clean driving license is essential.
