The Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Backend Developer to join our team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend C#/.NET development and a passion for working with cutting-edge technologies such as AI.

  • Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable backend services using C#/.NET.
  • Work closely with PostgreSQL to manage large, complex datasets efficiently.
  • Integrate with third-party systems and internal services via APIs, messaging queues, and data pipelines.
  • Ensure code quality through test automation, CI pipelines, and peer reviews.
  • Develop and support systems deployed on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Build and maintain infrastructure with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Contribute to event-driven architectures using tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
The Person:

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong experience with C#/.NET and PostgreSQL.
  • Proven work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Excellent understanding of system integrations and distributed data.
  • Solid grasp of testing strategies, from unit to integration.
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with AI tools is an advantage.
