Job Overview

Capital Reporting & Analysis plays a pivotal role in the success of our organization. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our quarterly Solvency II actuarial reporting processes, including calculations of Solvency II technical provisions and the Solvency Capital Requirement.

The ideal candidate will possess an actuarial qualification, significant post-qualification experience working in life insurance, and exceptional problem-solving and decision-making ability. They should also have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely to a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead our quarterly Solvency II actuarial reporting processes, ensuring accurate calculations and timely delivery.
  • Develop capital projections under Solvency II and LICAT, analyzing capital generation under both bases.
  • Manage and develop a team of actuarial professionals to deliver on the team's objectives.

Requirements

  • Actuarial qualification (FSAI) or other appropriate professional qualification.
  • Significant post-qualification experience working in life insurance.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely to a wide range of stakeholders.
