Current Opportunity

Position: Mental Health Support Specialist

Location: Ireland

Full-time/Part-time: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid from our Dublin office.

Key Responsibilities

Our Mental Health Support Specialists engage with participants via phone, video, chat, and email, providing emotional support and connecting clients with necessary resources. Each case presents unique challenges, requiring empathic and culturally sensitive approaches to ensure effective support.

The ideal candidate will possess a Level 4 diploma in Counselling, be registered or a member of a relevant regulatory body, and have experience using short-term counselling modalities such as Solution-Focused, CBT, Mindfulness, Integrative, and Systemic counselling. Training in crisis intervention and supporting high-risk clients is beneficial.

  • Provide single-session telephonic and video counselling, in-the-moment support, and crisis management while maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Assess clients thoroughly to determine appropriateness for short-term counselling.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop clear treatment plans and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Level 4 diploma in Counselling.
  • Registration or membership with a recognized regulatory body.
  • Experience using various short-term counselling models.
  • Training in crisis intervention and high-risk client support (desirable).
