Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead recruitment campaigns for both organisations, including drafting job descriptions, advertising roles, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Staff Management: Manage new hire onboarding and induction programs to ensure a smooth start for new employees, track staff attendance, holiday leave, and absences, and support scheduling and rota creation.
- Staff Welfare & Engagement: Promote a positive working environment through staff engagement initiatives and wellbeing programs, assist with conflict resolution, and ensure employee concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
- HR Administration: Draft and issue employment contracts, policies, and procedures in line with Irish employment legislation, assist with payroll administration, and support compliance with health and safety regulations.
- HR Development & Projects: Work with management to implement HR initiatives that align with the values and goals of Priory Market and The County Fayre, help develop an inclusive recruitment strategy for The County Fayre, and support the creation of HR systems and processes for The County Fayre as a new operation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Discretion, confidentiality, and a professional approach.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to working with two different organisational cultures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems (experience with payroll systems is a plus).
- Previous experience in a HR role (hospitality or social enterprise experience is highly desirable).
- Knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards it is an advantage.
