We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working on various projects, including utilities and public realm developments. Your expertise in setting out and surveying duties will be invaluable to the project's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with project managers to ensure site specifications and designs meet the required standards.
  • Complete daily setting out and surveying duties to maintain accurate records.
  • Supervise and mentor site staff to ensure they are working safely and efficiently.
  • Attend site meetings to discuss progress and address any concerns.
  • Carry out toolbox talks and health and safety briefings to ensure all staff are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Liaise with site management and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate plant, machinery, and materials to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure waste is disposed of safely and appropriately.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Strong experience in setting out and surveying duties.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work within a team and motivate staff.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • Confident in MS Office.
  • Full driving license.
