Job Title: MEP Technical Specialist

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical building services engineering.

As a senior technical specialist, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of mechanical and electrical systems for various projects.

You will utilise your expertise in AutoCAD & Revit software to create detailed drawings, schematics, and plans that adhere to industry standards and client specifications.

Working closely with our engineering team, you will contribute to the successful execution of projects from conception to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Produce accurate and detailed drawings using Revit/AutoCAD software, including mechanical and electrical layouts, schematics, and plans.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
  • Ensure that drawings comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Conduct clash detection analysis and provide solutions to optimise coordination between various disciplines.
  • Revise and update drawings as necessary based on feedback from stakeholders.
  • Maintain organised documentation of drawings and project files.
  • Support the project team by providing technical assistance and solutions as needed.

Requirements for the role include:

  • 5+ years' experience working in the role of BIM & CAD Technician within a team.
  • Revit/CAD Certified.
  • Previous experience as a Revit/CAD Technician.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to CAD implementation.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
