Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect Lead to lead the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and maintainable data systems that meet the needs of our business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data architectures that meet business requirements
  • Leverage expertise in SQL, Java, Python, and cloud platforms to drive innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights
  • Mentor and guide engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement, inclusivity, and engineering excellence
  • Set a high bar for code quality, testing, and documentation to ensure our data solutions meet the highest standards

Requirements

  • Strong experience working with complex datasets is essential
  • Expert knowledge of application programming languages such as Java, Python, or Javascript
  • Experience working within the data analysis ecosystem on top of platforms such as Spark, Iceberg, Databricks, or Snowflake
  • Deep understanding of microservice-based architecture operating at scale, preferably in a cloud environment such as AWS
  • Proficiency in Java, Groovy, Kotlin, or JVM-based language is a plus
  • Knowledge of Apache Iceberg, Apache Druid, Apache Flink is a plus
