
Personal Development Volunteer

As a volunteer, you will be working with individuals to help them achieve personal growth and develop their skills. Your role will involve providing support and guidance to those who need it, in a warm and welcoming environment.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide a positive first point of contact for visitors, greeting them promptly and courteously. You will also be responsible for supporting reception, dealing with initial queries, coordinating appointments, and signposting to available support within the service and community.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will be tasked with making individuals feel at ease by offering to make them a drink and supporting them to complete their registration form. You will also be required to motivate and inspire service users to reach their potential, providing them with the necessary skills and training to undertake the role.
Your work will involve ensuring that service users and other visitors receive a friendly and efficient service, dealt with promptly and courteously. You will also contribute to maintaining the client information displayed in the reception area, ensuring it is tidy, current, and relevant.
Furthermore, you will be required to promote and support service user involvement, providing basic advice and information on the service offer. In carrying out these duties, you will help the organization provide the best possible service to clients and perform volunteering roles to the best of your ability.
