Job Opportunity

At our organization, we are seeking a professional to fill the role of Project Manager.

  • We are looking for someone with expertise in managing large-scale construction projects and experience in working with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • A strong background in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is essential.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage site-based project management teams on large-scale projects administered under the NEC suite of contracts.
  2. Act as the key liaison between the client, contractor, and design teams to ensure works are delivered safely, to the required quality standards, on time, and within budget.
  3. Manage quality control on site, including inspections, test witnessing, and material approvals.
  4. Maintain site records, prepare reports, and support project change control processes.
  5. Proactively engage with the Contractor to encourage a collaborative working relationship while maintaining contractual compliance.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree (Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Chartered status (e.g., CEng, MCIOB, ChPP) or working towards chartership is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of the NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts, particularly the Project Manager role.
