Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced electrical design engineer to join our team. As a senior design expert, you will be responsible for the design of electrical systems in data centers. You will work closely with other disciplines to ensure that all aspects of the project are met.

Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop electrical systems that meet or exceed quality requirements. This includes creating detailed specifications and designs for equipment, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and collaborating with vendors to specify the appropriate electrical equipment.

You will also be responsible for reviewing and approving equipment submittals, defining project scope, and providing technical support for information requests prior to and during construction phases. Additionally, you will work with commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Cumulative 6+ years experience with power systems and mission critical electrical design
  • Excellent understanding of European Electrical Codes
  • Detailed understanding of critical LV, MV and HV electrical equipment
  • Understanding of relays, protections schemes, high-voltage circuit breakers, power and distribution transformers, electrical switchgear, grounding and earthing
  • Ability to research new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
