Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Operations Lead to join our team. This is a commercially oriented finance role that offers broad exposure across reporting, audit, transactions, and financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance contact for Irish entities, liaising with internal teams and external advisors on financial matters.
  • Participate in deal teams, supporting transaction structuring and financial due diligence to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly reporting, coordinating with outsourced accounting providers to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Lead the preparation of audit packs and liaise with external auditors during annual audits to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Drive improvements in internal controls, finance processes, and operational efficiency to enhance overall performance.
  • Support accounting standard reviews and contribute to ad hoc finance initiatives to stay ahead of industry developments.

Candidate Profile

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience, ideally within aircraft leasing, aviation finance, or Big 4.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with exposure to transactional finance, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
