Microbiologist Role in Hospital Setting
We are seeking a highly skilled Microbiologist to join our team at Naas General Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in microbiology and laboratory settings.
About the Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring consumables and reagent stock supplies associated with the section, working 35 hours per week.
Key responsibilities include participating in laboratory meetings, particularly about assessment of performance, development of the service, and organisational changes. Additionally, they will contribute to effective communication within the department.
The chosen candidate will maintain and improve analytical quality in the department by participating in and facilitating Quality Assurance and Audits.
Requirements:
- Be registered, or eligible for registration, on the Medical Scientists Register maintained by the Medical Scientists Registration Board at CORU.
- Permission to work in Ireland.
- A professional approach to work.
- Flexibility in work practice.
