Manufacturing Technician

This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of the organization. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance checks to ensure operational efficiency
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting of faults
  • Undertake repairs and modifications to production equipment
  • Selecting and engaging outside contractors as needed

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Performing complex skilled maintenance and repair on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Interpreting blueprints and schematics
  • Assisting in compilation and presentation of technical feedback on engineering performance
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Min level 6 in a technical related discipline
  • Excellent knowledge of industrial machines and mechanical industry
  • Technical and fault-finding skills
  • Experience within a Computerized Maintenance Management Work Order system environment
