We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to assist with the operational delivery of services in our recreational centre.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a sports, leisure or gym environment and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Main Responsibilities- Support the management team with daily operations, including supervising activities and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of facilities.
- Assist with event set-up, equipment preparation and storage.
- Evaluate clients' current physical condition and capabilities to tailor exercise programs.
- Develop individual workout plans based on client goals and needs.
- Instruct and motivate participants in various fitness classes.
- Demonstrate exercises and provide guidance on proper form and technique.
- Provide nutritional advice and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Monitor use of facilities and report maintenance issues and hazards promptly.
- Relevant fitness, sports or leisure qualification (e.g., Gym Instructor, Fitness Instruction).
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience working in a sports, leisure or gym environment.
- Competitive hourly rate.
