Job Opportunity: Leisure Club Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Leisure Club Assistant to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring the smooth running of the leisure club during opening hours, and assisting the manager in marketing and promoting the club.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for all members, dealing with queries in person, by phone or email.
  • Ensure the leisure club runs efficiently and effectively during operating hours.
  • Support the manager in promoting the club and increasing membership sales.
  • Conduct general cleaning duties and maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the club.
  • Handle membership inquiries and assist with the sale process.
Requirements:
  • Fluent English and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings and weekends is required.
  • Possession of pool/lifeguard certification and First Aid qualification is mandatory.
  • NCEF (National Certificate in Exercise and Fitness) qualification or equivalent is also required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and a desire to progress in your career are highly valued.
  • Swimming instructor qualifications are preferred but not essential.
