Job Title: Performance Optimization Specialist

\

We are seeking a seasoned performance optimization specialist to spearhead our company's efforts in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and high-performance of our large-scale applications.

About the Role:

  2. Develop and execute comprehensive performance testing strategies to identify and troubleshoot application performance issues.\
  3. Design and implement efficient performance testing scripts and tools to streamline testing processes.\
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and support the triage of production performance issues.\
  5. Mentor junior team members and review their work to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development.\
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance engineering to continuously improve our processes and technologies.\
  7. Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base articles to enhance team knowledge and expertise.\
  8. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality, architecture, and performance.\
  9. Work closely with development teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.\
  10. Design and implement data analytics and visualization tools to provide insights into application performance and user behavior.\
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners to stay informed about new technologies and innovations in performance engineering.\
  12. Support the development of strategic plans and roadmaps for performance engineering initiatives.\
  13. Provide input on technology stack decisions and recommendations.\
  14. Represent the performance engineering team in meetings and discussions with stakeholders.\
  15. Communicate performance engineering strategies and results to senior leadership and other stakeholders.\

Requirements:

  • \
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.\
  • 10+ years of industry experience in performance engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior capacity.\
  • Hands-on experience with LoadRunner, NeoLoad, JMeter, Selenium, or similar tools.\
  • Strong knowledge of APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.\
  • Proven experience analyzing performance for Java applications, containerized/serverless environments, databases (MSSQL, Oracle, DynamoDB), and JavaScript-based front ends.\
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows environments.\
  • Experience with AWS and integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.\
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go, SQL, and version control tools such as GIT or Bitbucket.\
