Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Dublin city centre.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of electrical building services installations on buildings projects. This includes ensuring that building services are coordinated within themselves, and with other building activities and installations.

You will also ensure that all required approvals (statutory, regulatory, client and company) are in place as and when required. Additionally, you will oversee specialist electrical sub-contractors to ensure they work strictly according to our Safety Management system.

This role requires excellent communication, presentation and people management skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & Project. A Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering/Energy System and at least 6 years' experience in Electrical Services Design roles are essential qualifications for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement electrical building services installations on buildings projects.
  • Coordinate building services with other building activities and installations.
  • Ensure all required approvals are in place.
  • Oversee specialist electrical sub-contractors.
  • Monitor and control the flow of Building Services design information.
  • Review design information and advise on any design shortfalls.
  • Plan, witness and record activities required for testing and commissioning.
