Pet Food Innovation Specialist

As a key contributor to our Research & Development team, you will be responsible for driving food innovation and shaping the future of pet nutrition. This role involves leading and supporting new product development projects from concept to launch, as well as modifying existing products to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Nutrition and Product Development: Design recipes and oversee nutritional, palatability, and analytical trials to deliver high-quality, safe, and innovative products.
- Product Specifications and Customer Support: Prepare product specifications and support customer visits, audits, and presentations to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Team Collaboration and Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive project success and deliver products that meet customer needs.
- A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Animal Science, or a related field is essential for this role.
- At least 2 years' experience in New Product Development (NPD) is required, preferably in the food or pet food industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and nutrition is critical for success in this position.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and drive project success.
