About this role

Job Description

This is a senior management position responsible for maintaining and improving quality system compliance within the Global Medicines Quality Organization (GMQO). The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and resource management skills, with experience in clinical development and global environments.

  • Leadership and Resource Management: The successful candidate will lead and develop a diverse and capable workforce, ensuring robust individual training plans and timely completion of required training for direct reports.
  • Quality System Implementation: This role will support the implementation of quality reviews, deviation and change management, CAPA implementation, quality assessments, and issue resolution within the area of responsibility.
  • Audits and Inspections: The selected candidate will facilitate audits, regulatory inspections, and regulatory responses, ensuring ongoing inspection readiness of the area.
  • Project Management and Process Improvement: The individual will identify and drive projects for the development and implementation of the Safety and Efficacy Quality System (SEQS), supporting global process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a health-related or scientific field;
  • Experience in clinical development;
  • Supervisory experience;
  • Experience working in a global environment;
  • Strong leadership and self-management skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Knowledge of GCP guidelines, GxPs, and regulations within the area of responsibility;
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
