Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of postgraduate experience in a consultancy role, with a strong background in infrastructure, residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To act as a Senior Civil Engineer on ongoing projects, coordinating and supervising in-house teams to prepare planning applications, tenders, and construction packages.
  • To attend meetings with key stakeholders, including clients and design teams, to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • To demonstrate a strong ethical approach to quality, safety, and environmental protection.
  • To utilize excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • To manage and encourage other design personnel, identifying new business opportunities for the company.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum Level 8 degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer status (CEng, MIEI / MICE or recognised equivalent).
  • 8+ years of experience in a consultant engineer's practice, working on civil and structural projects.
  • Experience dealing with Irish Water applications.
  • A track record in master-planning and delivering roads and services infrastructure projects.
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • A full driving license.
