Project Manager: Infrastructure and Maintenance

Our organization is seeking an experienced project manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of highway infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day contract administration, compliance monitoring, and project/program management services;
  • Coordinating specialists, reviewing submissions, expediting project schedules, ensuring compliance, and conducting regular inspections;
  • Drafting and reviewing correspondences to contractors;
  • Liaising with internal teams and stakeholders;
  • Monitoring contractual compliance by the contractor, and early identification of issues and problems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical/electronic engineering; or in another relevant discipline;
  • 5 years + post-graduate experience in infrastructure projects;
  • Ideally experienced in mechanical/electrical systems projects and infrastructure maintenance.

Key Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience in chairing meetings and managing resources;
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in infrastructure O&M schemes and intelligent transport systems;
  • Familiarity with PPP and NEC3 contracts, commercial risk, and procurement strategies;
  • Knowledge of highway engineering standards, including DMRB.
