Job Overview

Supply Chain Specialist Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team, working in Dublin on-site at our customer's location. This position involves coordinating and maintaining sales order entry processing functions.

  • Coordinate and maintain the sales order entry processing function - orders, acknowledgments, invoicing, credits etc.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries or those from the Sales Team.
  • Support the commercial Team with timely responses to their enquiries.
  • Familiarize yourself with products and processes for swift responses to customer queries.
  • Regularly participate in business reviews, conference calls, and face-to-face interactions based on defined customer portfolios.

The ideal candidate will possess a Third-level Diploma/Degree in Business or a Technical field, preferably Supply Chain Management. They should also have previous experience in Customer Services within a Pharmaceutical and Supply Chain environment. Proficiency in Logistics Supply Chain management models and the ability to interact and manage freight forwarders effectively are essential skills.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain liaison with Distribution to ensure accuracy regarding schedule adherence.
  • Liaise with Manufacturing to ensure accuracy regarding schedule adherence.
  • Accurately maintain customer forecast information to support all planning activities.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly metrics as set out by site management in a timely manner.

The successful candidate must be able to drive projects to completion, establish robust business relationships with customers, handle difficult customer communications, influence customers when necessary, and work within a dynamic Team environment.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A Third-level Diploma/Degree in Business or a Technical field, preferably Supply Chain Management.
  • Previous experience in Customer Services within a Pharmaceutical and Supply Chain environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of Logistics Supply Chain management models.
  • The ability to interact and manage freight forwarders effectively.

In addition to these requirements, strong project management skills, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities are highly valued in this position.
