Job Title: Communications Executive

We are seeking a Senior Communications Executive to support the implementation of our Communications Strategy, enhance stakeholder engagement, and promote the value of national clinical audit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging content for various channels, including social media, digital platforms and events. Key areas include developing ideas and materials with patient and public interest representatives and healthcare partners, managing and growing our social media presence, preparing press releases and supporting media relations activity, representing us at external conferences and events, and identifying opportunities for exhibition or promotional activity.
Requirements:
  • A third-level qualification in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related discipline is essential. Relevant experience producing and managing content for digital and social media channels is also required.
  • Demonstrable experience working in the Irish healthcare or public sector landscape is desirable.

Our organization was established in 2012 to create sustainable national clinical audit across the Irish healthcare system. We are funded by the Health Service Executive Office of the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) and governed by an independent voluntary Board. We are operationally supported by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI).
