Counselling Support Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and empathetic Counsellor to provide crucial emotional support via a 24/7 helpline.
- Deliver immediate emotional support and guidance through telephone-based counselling services, ensuring clients receive the highest level of care.
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and provide suitable signposting to support clients in need.
- Work in line with BACP ethics, guaranteeing exceptional service delivery.
- Engage in structured video counselling sessions to cater to diverse client needs.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure efficient case management, prioritizing client confidentiality and data protection.
- Provide CBT mentoring and solution-focused techniques to empower callers in reaching positive outcomes.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Counselling (Level 4) with a minimum of 150 hours of counselling experience.
- At least 12 months' post-qualification experience and registered membership with BACP or equivalent professional body.
- Strong computer literacy skills and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Experience in dealing with safeguarding concerns and suicidal ideation, demonstrating expertise in crisis management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
