Design and Development Engineer
">Come and work with our team to develop innovative solutions for civil engineering projects. As a Design and Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the design of drainage, water, roads networks, flood assessment and mitigation measures and traffic assessments.
">You should have a strong understanding of the engineering principles behind drainage, water, roads and traffic system design. In addition, you will need to possess IT skills – including MS Word, Excel, basic AutoCAD skills + company design software packages including Linsig, Causeway Flow, TRICs, Tuflow, HEC-RAS, EPANet. Familiarity with DMURS is also required.
">The ideal candidate will have experience in compiling engineering planning documentation and producing Flood Risk Assessments. You should also have experience in the preparation of Traffic & Transportation Assessments and Mobility Management Plans. Strong communication skills both oral and written are also required.
">Understanding of the Irish regulatory and policy issues is important. Appreciation of the full Project Delivery Process including GCCC Contracts is essential. Knowledge of costing and options appraisal is also required.
">A proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios is necessary. The ideal candidate should hold an honours degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and have a minimum of 3 years experience in a design office environment.
">This is a permanent position based in Galway City. A competitive salary is negotiable depending on experience.
