Job Description

This role involves maintaining and reviewing data protection governance documentation, including privacy quality procedures, data protection policies, process templates, data protection impact assessments, and SCA privacy notices.

The successful candidate will assist with data subject access requests and section 41 Garda requests, and redact documents where appropriate. They will also attend and provide administrative support to privacy-related meetings, track and follow up on actions, and liaise with the operations team to provide the relevant Data Processing Agreement for signing.

Additionally, they will work with the operations team regarding supplier onboarding queries, ensure that relevant systems are kept up to date, prepare and deliver privacy training as requested, and liaise with the SCA Training Manager. They will also work with the Risk, Business Process and Compliance Unit on privacy matters, process audits, and compliance matters.

About This Role

This is a mid-senior level role that requires strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, and a professional qualification in data protection. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role and be able to demonstrate their ability to work effectively in a team.
