Employee Relations Specialist

As a critical member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in managing employee relations cases and supporting projects as part of the Strategic Partner team. Your primary responsibility will be to establish global ER processes ensuring consistency, clear accountability, and defined response times.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and maintain global Employee Relations (ER) processes to ensure consistency across all geographies where the company operates or plans to expand.
2. Manage end-to-end ER cases, including disciplinaries, underperformance, probations, and exits, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
3. Provide expert employment law advice across multiple regions, ensuring global legal compliance and risk mitigation.
4. Represent the People team in audits, business continuity planning (BCP), risk management, security, and compliance matters.
5. Identify trends and report insights to drive data-informed decisions and proactive interventions.
Projects & Process Improvement:
1. Scope and execute on standard projects or workstreams independently or collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
2. Continuously assess and enhance People policies and self-service content ensuring available content is clear, current, and accessible.
3. Use data insights to identify trends, optimize processes, and drive high organizational performance.
4. Support the rollout of People team solutions and systems, providing support and training to ensure adoption.
Knowledge Sharing & Community Building:
1. Contribute to building a robust knowledge base within the Strategic Partner team, supporting a community of learning and driving innovation.
2. Identify opportunities for process improvements and to streamline ways of working.
3. Share best practices and insights, encouraging continuous improvement and consistency across all people-related initiatives.
Measures of Success:
1. Case resolution time: % of cases closed within agreed SLAs.
2. Frequency and quality of data-driven insights shared with business leaders and partners.
3. Proactive interventions: number of trends identified from cases leading to preventative actions.
4. Time taken to implement process improvements or policy updates.
5. Number of tier 0 resources created or updated to support consistent ER processes.
6. Project Delivery: % of People projects completed on time and within scope, with clear business impact.
7. Improved or maintained eSat scores.
8. Number of best practices, policies, or case studies added to the Strategic Partner team's knowledge base.
Key Expectations:
1. Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
2. Experience in a Consulting or Business Analyst role.
3. Proven experience in employee relations, including handling complex cases.
4. Knowledge of employment law across multiple regions.
5. Experience driving process improvements and policy development.
6. Proven track record to manage multiple projects simultaneously from inception to delivery.
