Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Homeless Services Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional services to individuals experiencing homelessness.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our homeless service, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective strategies to support clients, build strong relationships with external agencies, and contribute to the development of our organization's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage the homeless service team, providing guidance, support, and supervision to staff.
  2. Develop and implement service plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  3. Collaborate with external agencies to ensure effective referral pathways and support services for clients.
  4. Monitor and evaluate service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  5. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a management role within a similar field.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and driving service improvement.
  • Strong understanding of homelessness issues and services.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
