We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the routine maintenance and upkeep of tools, as well as working on the production, repair, and maintenance of Multi Cavity Moulds, Valve Gate Moulds, and Hot runner Moulds.

Requirements:

  • A qualification in Toolmaking is required
  • Experience in an injection mould making environment is essential
  • Previous experience in a Medical Device background or similar regulated environment would be beneficial
  • The ability to read and understand blueprints is necessary
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence others positively are also required

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of tools, as well as working on the production, repair, and maintenance of Multi Cavity Moulds, Valve Gate Moulds, and Hot runner Moulds. This will involve regular inspections to ensure that all tools meet print tolerance standards, as well as maintaining Jigs and Fixture manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and be able to work well in cross-functional teams to meet business goals. They will also need to be proactive and able to communicate effectively with colleagues.
