We're seeking a skilled Toolmaker for a leading manufacturing company specialising in high-precision injection moulding. This hands-on role involves the maintenance, repair, and improvement of complex moulds in a high-volume production environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Toolmaker with experience in injection mould making and maintenance

  • Strong skills in milling, turning, grinding, sparking, and fitting

  • Ability to weld and knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics (advantageous)

  • Experience with multi-cavity, hot runner, and valve-gated moulds

  • Solid understanding of injection moulding processes and tight-tolerance applications (e.g. medical)

  • Ability to work with internal teams and external suppliers/toolmakers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair injection moulds to high standards

  • Develop and monitor standard procedures for mould maintenance

  • Support jig and fixture manufacturing and troubleshooting with Process Engineers

  • Collaborate with quality teams to resolve customer-related issues

  • Assist in evaluating and implementing new tooling processes and systems
