Job Opportunity: Delivery and Sales Associate
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to fill the role of a delivery and sales associate. This position involves transporting goods, delivering to existing customers, and providing exceptional service throughout the daily route.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, managing time effectively, and has good communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving license, experience in a delivery or sales role, and be familiar with the local area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and prepare customer orders each morning at the designated warehouse location.
- Load the vehicle with prepared orders for daily deliveries.
- Deliver goods to existing customers across Monaghan, Tyrone, Armagh, and Cavan.
- Obtain customer signatures upon delivery via a handheld device.
- Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including basic cash handling when required.
- Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with all customers.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good working order.
Requirements:
- Clean full driving license.
- Previous experience in a delivery or sales role is advantageous.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for paperwork and cash handling.
- Familiarity with Monaghan and surrounding counties is beneficial.
