Telephone Triage Nurse Opportunity

This role presents an excellent chance to make a meaningful impact in providing urgent medical care to patients who cannot wait until their GP's surgery re-opens.

The ideal candidate will be part of a dynamic nursing team based in the Triage Centre, Tullamore, working in a supportive environment with induction training and mentorship provided.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide telephone triage services as appropriate within protocols and guidelines.
  • Work flexibly as part of a telephone triage nurse rota during operational hours.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and sufficient command of the English language.
  • A commitment to providing a quality service.
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working in Accident & Emergency, Paediatrics, Practice Nursing, Midwifery, or Telephone Triaging.
