Theatre Cleaning Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled individual to provide high-quality housekeeping services to our Theatre department. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, physical environment and be part of a team that delivers exceptional patient care.
As a Theatre Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning equipment and associated areas of work in accordance with cleaning schedules using recommended detergents. You will also ensure the correct segregation of mop heads and cleaning cloths is adhered to at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- To clean operating theatre equipment and associated areas of work in accordance with cleaning schedules.
- To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Theatre department.
- To ensure the colour coded system is adhered to for cleaning duties-colour coded cleaning cloths.
- To report any potential hazards or concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Previous experience in a theatre environment or similar setting would be advantageous.
- A good understanding of current infection control procedures or protocols is essential.
- Ability to work well in a team, as well as unsupervised.
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
