We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill a Full & Part-time Leisure Centre Attendant/Swim Teacher/Fitness Trainer role.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a team environment and providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Leisure Centre, teaching swim classes and fitness sessions, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct programmes and assessments to ensure participant safety and progress.
  • Teach swimming lessons and fitness classes to individuals and groups, promoting a fun and engaging experience.
  • Supervise the swimming pool area, maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene.
  • Ensure that all necessary equipment and facilities are prepared and available for classes and events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Friendly and approachable attitude, with excellent communication skills.
  • Assistant or Full WSI qualification, or equivalent experience in teaching swimming or fitness.
  • Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written.
  • Availability to work variable shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
