The Deputy Head of Underwriting will be responsible for:
1. Managing the Casualty and SME portfolios, holding profit and loss responsibility.
2. Developing, leading, and implementing the Casualty business strategy to drive profitable growth.
3. Working closely with the Business Lines Transformation Project Team to design and implement a new technology platform.
4. Supporting the Head of SME in delivering the SME business strategy.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate advanced technical knowledge and skills reflective of a seasoned practitioner who has progressed within underwriting positions of increasing responsibility. You will also need strong analytical skills and decision-making ability.
