Home Care Support Professional

We are seeking candidates for a role that involves empowering service users to live independently in their residential homes and communities.
Our client is hiring Residential Support Workers in Kilkenny, specifically in Ballygriffen and Tullaroan locations, to facilitate access to daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities:- To support service users to maintain independent lives within their residential homes and community.
- To transport service users to enable them to participate in daily living activities.
- To participate in household duties including cooking, laundry, general cleaning and shopping.
- To maintain professional communication and relationships with colleagues.
- To be aware of safe working conditions and implement safe work practices, reporting potential hazards, incidents and concerns.
- To actively engage in team meetings, supervisions, training and team events.
- Alongside other duties involving providing an excellent standard of care to service users.
- Relevant qualification within the Healthcare Sector (Minimum Level 5).
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- A full clean manual driving license and access to own transport.
- An excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of HIQA standards.
- Experience in social care or relevant sectors.
