Residential Project Manager Job Description

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to join a rapidly expanding contracting company and contribute to the delivery of complex, diverse, and challenging construction projects. As a Site Manager, you will oversee the construction process on site, ensuring that all day-to-day activities are managed efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supervising construction sites and managing teams to achieve high-quality results within tight deadlines. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in delivering projects that meet or exceed client expectations.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising construction on site and ensuring compliance with safety and quality management systems;
  • Managing day-to-day site activities and resources to maximize efficiency;
  • Maintaining accurate records of manpower levels and site activities;
  • Supporting the project manager in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards;
  • Leading and motivating site teams to achieve their full potential;
  • Implementing and maintaining safety and quality management systems on site;
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes;

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in site management, preferably with main contractors;
  • Demonstrated ability to see projects through from concept to completion;
  • Proven technical and practical knowledge of the building industry;
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
