Job Title: Shift Supervisor

We are looking for a shift supervisor to join our Equipment team.

  • The primary responsibility of the shift supervisor is to manage technician holidays and shift coverage.
  • A key task is to conduct 1:1 reviews with team members.
  • The shift supervisor will also be responsible for carrying out performance discussions.
  • Liaising with the training coordinator to create and improve training plans for team members.
  • Maintaining training records and ensuring compliance with STAR and other training requirements.
  • Conducting interviews for new technicians.
Safety Management:
  • As a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), the shift supervisor will respond to ERT alerts and safety concerns across the fab, subfab, and mezzanine.
  • Completing incident reports.
  • Managing work permits, including approval and gas/fire sensor isolation.
Equipment Maintenance:
  • Overseeing fab equipment activities.
  • Attending manufacturing bunker meetings and liaising with the production supervisor on equipment priorities.
  • Documenting shift handover reports.
  • Coordinating maintenance work with external contractors and facilities groups.
  • Managing preventive maintenance (PM) task lists across workcentres.
  • Initiating escalations and call-outs for critical equipment issues.
  • Scrap ownership, investigation, and diagnosis.
  • Working closely with the Equipment Engineering & Days/Evenings Technicians to meet & exceed the Department & Site KPIs.
Performance Management:
  • Achieving shift and departmental KPIs, including Shift Activity, MTTR, MTBF, Tool Availability, and Costs.
  • Managing cover and overtime budgets.
  • Managing daily on-shift activities, prioritizing and allocating resources effectively for PMs and UMs.
