Occupational Therapy Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our progressive and innovative Neurology service. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will provide a high-quality Occupational Therapy service, manage your own caseload, and supervise junior staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical and educational duties as required in the inpatient and outpatient Neurology service.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment programmes for patients according to service standards.

• Supervise Basic Grade/Student Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants, participating in their continuing professional development.

• Work closely with other senior/clinical specialist OTs to establish care pathways.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A recognized qualification as an Occupational Therapist and eligibility for recognition and registration with CORU.

• At least 3 years of full-time post-qualification clinical experience, working with people with neurological conditions.

• Experience in supervising staff grade and junior occupational therapists and/or students and/or therapy assistants.

• Complex seating experience.
