Job Description:

The role of Manufacturing Engineer is critical in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our production lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing performance, quality, output volume, and cost. They will develop processes using Lean principles to ensure safe, effective, and efficient production.

This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to collaborate with various teams. The successful candidate will gain exposure and contribute to all areas of the business by supporting the Quality, Operations, Health & Safety, and R&D departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (L7) in a relevant discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering
  • Problem solver that is solution-driven with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various teams
  • Working knowledge and experience of PTC Creo or alternative packages
  • Excellent technical report writing, oral communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to react and prioritize activities for the project/business need

The role is based at our headquarters in North, Co Galway, and will report to the Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve common goals and objectives.

They will also be responsible for monitoring and executing continuous improvement projects, evaluating manufacturing processes and improving manufacturing efficiency, and performing root cause analysis and resolving problems in production.
