Technical Leadership Role:

As a seasoned technical leader, you will drive excellence in a highly specialized field by providing expert guidance and leading validation activities for new injection moulding tools and process introductions.

  • Manage significant engineering projects through a structured project management framework
  • Develop and execute process validation protocols and reports for new product introductions and re-validations
  • Provide strategic technical leadership from an engineering perspective and own plant metrics
  • Engage in structured problem-solving and continuously improve the performance of processes
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to provide customer support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering projects through a project management framework
  • Develop and execute process validation protocols and reports
  • Provide strategic technical leadership from an engineering perspective
  • Own plant metrics and key performance indicators
  • Support manufacturing operations and process improvement initiatives
  • Engage in structured problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Interface with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • Level 8 degree in Polymer or Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline or equivalent technical experience
  • Proven track record of delivering business-critical projects and managing complex engineering projects
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong focus on process improvement and technical leadership
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Capable of providing technical direction and influencing engineers, technicians, and operators
  • Demonstrable strong analytical and problem-solving skills, process improvement orientation, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
