Job Title: Senior Regulatory Investigations Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Regulatory Investigations Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our elite Regulatory Investigations team, you will work closely with market-leading experts to advise financial services clients on business-critical regulatory issues and disputes.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years relevant experience in conducting or responding to Central Bank of Ireland/Financial Conduct Authority investigations. They will also possess expertise in regulatory enforcement, including by the Data Protection Commissioner or the CCPC, and experience in handling civil litigation claims, judicial reviews, and other appeals or adjudications, particularly in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise financial services clients on regulatory risks and supervisory engagements
  • Conduct or respond to Central Bank of Ireland/Financial Conduct Authority investigations
  • Develop innovative solutions for complex regulatory issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues in our Financial Regulatory Group to provide a market-leading 'joined up' approach
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years relevant experience in regulatory investigations
  • Expertise in regulatory enforcement, including by the Data Protection Commissioner or the CCPC
  • Experience in handling civil litigation claims, judicial reviews, and other appeals or adjudications, particularly in the financial services sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
