Technical IT Support Manager Position

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have significant experience in IT support operations and management.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for IT support operations, considering 24/7 support needs.
  • Establish an automation-first approach across all IT teams to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with ITSM and ServiceNow teams to standardize practices and improve tool efficiency.
  • Lead the implementation of Knowledge Management to automate routine tasks and improve user experience.
Main Tasks Include:
  1. Oversee local IT support teams, providing training and ensuring adherence to ITIL standards.
  2. Ensure local IT support operations meet SLAs and deliver exceptional user experiences.
  3. Collaborate with global IT support teams to establish and enforce IT policies and standards.
  4. Support other IT teams in delivering IT projects, including infrastructure, software, and hardware upgrades.
  5. Monitor and analyze weekly and monthly metrics, driving continuous improvement.
  6. Maintain high standards for managing IT assets in local offices.
  7. Negotiate and maintain supplier and partner relationships, ensuring SLAs and contracts are upheld.
  8. Deliver regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  9. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations related to workplace services, health and safety, and environment.
  10. Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and learning within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in technical or business services environments, preferably in gaming or IT sectors.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Expertise in support operations and ServiceNow.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Able to thrive in a matrix management setting.
  • Skilled communicator with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Budget management experience with a focus on efficiency.
