
Pharmaceutical Manager

As a key member of our team, the Pharmaceutical Manager plays a vital role in ensuring that all legislative, contractual, professional, and ethical obligations are met. This involves providing expert advice to patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals on health and medicines.
This position requires a high level of expertise in managing stock levels, completing the dispensing process, and ensuring data checking is done according to store operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and directing the activities of pharmacy staff, including training and development.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the operation of a community pharmacy, demonstrated capability to perform effectively as a pharmacist, and ability to form effective relationships with all stakeholders and customers. A minimum of three years post-registration experience, preferably in an Irish retail pharmacy, is required.
In addition to the above requirements, the Pharmaceutical Manager must be a Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (with no conditions attached to registration). Previous experience as a Supervising Pharmacist is preferred but not essential.
