We are seeking an experienced Moulding Engineer to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with quality to ensure product attributes and performance meet specifications. They will also be responsible for ensuring the performance of daily preventative and demand maintenance activities to maintain manufacturing equipment. Additionally, they will liaise with production to maximise equipment performance and maintain records and documentation on relevant engineering procedures and preventative/demand maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with quality to ensure product attributes and performance meet specifications
  • Ensure the performance of daily preventative and demand maintenance activities to maintain manufacturing equipment
  • Liaise with production to maximise equipment performance
  • Maintain records and documentation on relevant engineering procedures and preventative/demand maintenance
  • Liaise with internal/external engineering personnel and contract maintenance providers for troubleshooting and installing/commissioning equipment
  • Design and plan new mould tools and processes
  • Integrate new injection mould tooling and equipment into manufacturing processes
  • Provide technical oversight on existing lines, investigate yields and quality trends
  • Prepare and implement CAPA plans per timelines
  • Lead projects against agreed project milestones
Requirements:
  • A relevant technical qualification in engineering/science/moulding
  • Degree level preferred and/or relevant experience
  • Relevant experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of moulding, extrusion, and/or polymer processes and technologies
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills; statistics knowledge/experience would be advantageous
  • Previous project/process management, product technology transfer/NPI, and validation experience desirable
  • Results-driven with proven ability to prioritise work
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
